[BWill's "In My Dreams"]

Definitely has potential

If I'm completely honest R&B isn't something I'm particularly in to but this is pretty easy listening. The beat is really good and compliments you rapping over it really well. Gotta say though that girl from high school singing kinda ruins the song a bit cause she can't hit her notes. Hit her up with a bit of auto-tune and maybe rap over her a bit and it'll be fixed.

I dunno if it's the style you're going for with your voice but a word of advice from me would be that your voice sounds a little lazy with the way you rap. Personally I think rap tends to me more emotional and easy to relate to when it's emotional and full of power both lyrically and vocally, in this song the lyrics are emotional but I don't quite believe it because of the way you're rapping it. That's just my two cents though.

But yeah, I like it, this is definitely a great first submission! Keep uploading :)

I just don't know. Actually I do, the rating system is shit and irrelevant. This is top quality stuff dude if only the music listings were sorted by something other than the rating maybe this'd get some recognition.

Given a nine for the coughs, other than that this is some pretty chilled stuff I love it 5/5 :D

Excellent melodies

This is definitely something that'd fit well in a game, the melodies and general construction of the piece are superb, I just wish you had better synths available to you. This sounds so computerised currently and I know it'd sound great with some expensive synths (or a full orchestra haha, that's a little much to ask for though).

But yeah, excluding that problem (not much you can do about it) 9/10 :)

To all the people saying they love it...

...when they don't usually like dubstep that's cause this isn't strictly dubstep. It's much faster. I still like it but this isn't really dubstep (I'd call it substep haha)

I hope ur not telling me to stick to a stereotype of dubstep, all music has its variations and I'm just being creative. And actually its 138 bpm a tad slower than most dubstep songs.

I'd call Glitchstep or something, I love the inconsistent beats and stuff like that. Works really well. 5/5 9/10

Well made!

Definitely worth a 5 but I'll give it 9/10 on the review. I've got a 200w subwoofer, hearing all the subbass, but I feel that you took that synth into an octave that was SLIGHTLY higher than it should have been and that pushed the synth to it's limits so it didn't sound as good. Changing octaves is a classic way for regular music to remain interesting, since the focus on dubstep is on bass and percussion you should be changing that up instead (i.e. glitches, bass drops and unexpected silence drops). Also, dubstep lends itself really well to samples, fill that shit up :D

Don't take that the wrong way btw, this is still a sick track, just giving my 2 british pennies :)

At first, from the intro single synth, I was thinking this was gonna be some shit 5 second wub wub like alot of the other uploads. Then the voice sample came in and THEN you introduced that sick distortion wub!

Good job mate, great track, I might speed it up a little and / or put some more glitches in there to keep it interesting but other than that the quality is superb. Also nicely looped! 5/5 9/10 (not 10/10 cause I'm not too fond of the intro synth)
